In Nations, players can found their own towns, form their own nations and participate in politics, wars and economy. The foundation of most features on nation's is SovereignMC's fork of the Towny plugin which we will be the focus of the guide.
Before you join Nations officially, you first need to select the continent where you spawn. You will be teleported to a random location within these continents.

Once you select your spawn you can do /kit starter to help you start on nations. You can either join an existing town / nation by asking for an invite or make your own town.
What is a Town?
/accept (town name).Once you've found a suitable location on the map, you can do /t new (town name) to create your town which will cost $2,000. To get this money, you can do a few things like doing /vote and voting for the server or mining gold and doing /bank. Each gold ingot is $9.
Here are a few useful commands for your town:
/t help • for towny help./t new (town name) • to create your town./t join (town name) • to join a town./t invite (player name) • to invite players to your town./t kick (player name) • to kick players from your town./t toggle (town toggle) (true/false) • to toggle certain settings in your town./t set (town setting) (input) • to access your town's settings./t spawn • to set your town's spawn./t rank add (resident) (rank) • to add a rank to one of your resident's./t claim • to claim chunks./t unclaim • to unclaim chunks./t deposit (amount) • to deposit money in your town./t withdraw (amount) • to withdraw money from your town./t online • check online residents./t delete • to delete your town. You're not done after you create your town. You still have to manage it.

As stated previously, there are multiple commands you can do for your town. A few important things are upkeep, permissions and your town's peaceful status.
Daily Upkeep
Your town has a daily upkeep which depends on a few factors, the main one being: town size. Town Size is how many chunks are claimed by your town. Each chunk is $2 dollars per day and a town's base upkeep is $30 dollars a day.
Permissions
You can set your town's permissions using /t set perm (permissions) (setting). By default, no one has permissions to build, open chests or do anything in your town if they aren't a resident. You can give someone permissions in your town equivalent to residents by doing /t trust (player name).
Peaceful Status
Hold on! Don't set your town's peaceful status to off! Setting your town to non-peaceful essentially means your town becomes susceptible to enemy sieges. Non-peaceful towns are normally fort towns — towns that act as fortresses for your nation.
If you have joined an existing town, good chance is that it is part of a Nation.
Nations cost $10,000 dollars to form with /n new (nation name).
What is a Nation?
/n accept (nation name).Nations are composed of two different types of towns: Peaceful towns and Non-peaceful towns.
